Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 2026-02-18 Last updated: 2026-08-25

Welcome to Dostination. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Dostination platform, including the website, events, communications, and any related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, submitting an RSVP, attending a Dostination event, or otherwise interacting with the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Description of Service

Dostination is a curated events, travel, and intentional-connection platform designed to bring together thoughtful community members through in-person gatherings, small-group experiences, and long-form travel. The Service includes event discovery, RSVP, ticketing, community profile management, matching-based introductions, and post-event communications.

3. User Eligibility & Account

You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to create a Dostination account or attend an event. At signup, you will be asked to provide your date of birth so we can confirm eligibility. Any user found to have misrepresented their age will have their account terminated immediately, all pending payouts held, and any active tickets voided per event refund policy. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering, to maintain that information, and to keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. See our Acceptable Use Policy for the full list of prohibited content and conduct.

4. Prohibited Uses

Dostination is a safe, respectful, community-first platform. The following conduct is strictly prohibited on the Service, at Dostination events, and in any Dostination-facilitated communication or introduction:

  • Human trafficking, including any form of sexual exploitation, forced labor, forced marriage, or the recruitment, transport, transfer, harboring, or receipt of persons by threat, force, coercion, deception, or abuse of power.
  • Aiding, abetting, or encouraging abuse of any kind, including physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse, financial exploitation, or coercive control.
  • Non-consensual conduct of any kind, including but not limited to unwanted sexual advances, non-consensual contact, image-based abuse, or the sharing of intimate content without explicit consent.
  • Harassment, stalking, threats, intimidation, hate speech, or discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Fraud, misrepresentation, or impersonation, including submitting false information on your profile or RSVP, using another person's account, or otherwise disguising your identity to deceive members or Dostination.
  • Illegal activity, including the sale, purchase, or facilitation of controlled substances, weapons, or any other illegal goods or services on or through the Service.
  • Solicitation, prostitution, or the exchange of Service participation for sex or sexual acts.
  • Exploitation of minors in any form. Any user we reasonably believe to be a minor, or to be exploiting a minor, will be removed immediately and reported to the appropriate authorities.
  • Sharing member data collected on the Service (including names, contact details, photos, or social handles) outside of the Service without the member's explicit consent.
  • Automated scraping, spam, or unauthorized access to the Service, its APIs, or its data.

We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violation, cooperate with law enforcement, and take any action we deem appropriate, including immediate account termination and permanent bans, at our sole discretion. If you become aware of any prohibited conduct, please report it immediately to yaar@dostination.com so we can act.

5. Event Attendance & Conduct

All Dostination events operate under a community code of conduct that requires warmth, mutual respect, and consent. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to:

  • refuse service, cancel a ticket, or bar attendance for any user we determine is a fit risk to the community or event;
  • require identification, additional vetting, or a short call before confirming attendance for select events;
  • remove any attendee from an event without refund for conduct that violates these Terms.

Attendees are responsible for their own transportation, personal belongings, and behavior at events. Dostination is not liable for personal loss, injury, or third-party actions occurring at, before, or after events, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Photography & Video

Dostination events are photographed and filmed to document and share the event experience. By registering for and attending an event, you give Dostination permission to photograph or film you as part of the event and to use event photos and video on our website, social media, event recaps, advertising, and other promotional materials.

Our media team generally focuses on the overall atmosphere, activities, and group moments rather than private conversations or closely filming individual guests. If we would like to feature you in a dedicated interview or testimonial, we will ask separately.

6. Payments, Fees, and Refunds

Some Dostination events and services require payment of a ticket price, deposit, or membership fee. All prices are listed in the currency indicated at checkout and are inclusive of any applicable fees unless otherwise stated. Except where required by law or explicitly stated on an event page, all payments are non-refundable once processed. If Dostination cancels an event, we will offer a full refund or a transfer to another event, at your option.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, copy, and brand marks, is owned by Dostination and protected by intellectual property law. You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (including profile photos, bios, and social handles). By submitting content, you grant Dostination a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and reproduce that content solely to operate and promote the Service, and to facilitate introductions and event experiences. You represent that you own or have permission to submit any content you upload.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect, use, and protect your data as described there. You are responsible for keeping the contact information on your account accurate.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting yaar@dostination.com. Dostination may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, at any time and without notice, for any conduct that violates these Terms, that we believe is harmful to other users or the community, or that exposes Dostination to legal or reputational risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Prohibited Uses, Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law) will survive.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or availability. Dostination does not guarantee any particular outcome from event attendance, introductions, or community participation. Community members are responsible for their own decisions regarding relationships, transactions, and interactions with other users.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dostination and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Dostination's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of one hundred US dollars (USD 100) or the amount you paid Dostination in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Hampshire, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction for infringement of intellectual property or violation of confidentiality obligations.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify active users by email or an in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Contact
